Herby Cheese Spread
This tasty spread can be used on toast or in sandwiches and doesn't need any butter to go on the bread first.
Ingredients
225 Gram Cream cheese (8 oz)
3 Tablespoon Mayonnaise
1 Clove Garlic, crushed
1 Teaspoon Lemon juice
1 Tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves, chopped
1 Tablespoon Fresh chives, chopped
Freshly ground black pepper
French bread or wholemeal toast, to serve
Method
Makes about 250g (9 oz)
Work the cream cheese with a wooden spoon to soften it.
Add mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice, coriander, chives and pepper.
Mix well.
Place in a serving dish and chill before serving with French bread or wholemeal toast.
